Provencal Hill village

Three little watercolours here which I really enjoyed doing, the first two were done for today's watercolour workshop and the Little Furgie tractor will be for the next. Once the initial pencil line work is established I work quickly and try to retain that excitement and vitality which watercolours can provide when the colours are fresh and not overworked. Mixing the colours on the paper instead of on the palette and letting the colours flow into each other is scary to do but very exciting, I let the colours appear to be what they are - watery
